Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of January 14 and claims of $61,317.55 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

Public Health Director Dr. Lena Foss presented the department's annual report, highlighting 1,240 immunizations administered and expansion of home-visit nursing. Supervisor Cabrera commended the staff.

Emergency Management Coordinator Rick Sowards reported the multi-jurisdiction hazard mitigation plan update is 60% complete and on schedule for FEMA submission in the fall.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to approve the revised consumer fireworks permit policy for unincorporated areas as recommended by the County Attorney. Carried 3–0.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:08 a.m..
