Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of February 18 and claims of $89,517.41 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

County Engineer Paul Vandenberg presented the proposed five-year secondary roads construction program. Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to approve the program as presented. Carried 3–0.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to impose seasonal frost-law weight restrictions on county gravel roads effective February 15, consistent with prior years. Carried 3–0.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to approve the hiring of a deputy recorder as recommended by Recorder Faye Lindqvist, effective March 10. Carried 3–0.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:14 a.m..
